A regatta-planning tool for rowing-club coaches — the thing that replaces the tangle of spreadsheets every club ends up with when a race weekend turns into a logistics problem.
A club running a regatta is coordinating two hundred athletes, fifteen shells and dozens of events against a single race-day timeline. Almost everyone does this in spreadsheets that can't tell you when you've put the same rower in two boats racing eight minutes apart, or assigned a sculler to a boat rigged for sweep. justrow makes the problem tractable: drag athletes into seats, assign shells, and a rules engine flags conflicts — time overlaps, hot-seat turnarounds, eligibility, rigging — before race day does.
It's intentionally a coach tool rather than an athlete app: the people doing the hardest organisational work in rowing tend to get the worst software, and that's the gap I wanted to close. Built first for the Ottawa Rowing Club; the longer aim is for the same roster, equipment and calendar data to carry a club through the rest of the year too.
